Five people, one table, three languages

We teach at home because the mornings were the only part of the day we controlled. This site is the record — kept partly so the kids can read it later, and partly because other parents kept asking for the plans.

Why ten thousand

A childhood holds about 6,500 mornings between four and eighteen. We named the site for a bigger number because the habit is supposed to outlast the childhood.

Why it is free

Because when we started we went looking for help on the web, and what we found had been put there for free by people who got nothing for it. Nothing here is sold, sponsored, or gated behind an address.

Why three languages

Korean father, Chinese mother, raising three kids in Texas — the three languages are just the ones spoken at this table. Every piece ships in all three so any parent who reads one of them can use it.
